These are a few environmental designs from the animation The Blackwater Gospel. I think it is really effective the way these environmental designs have been created, they are simple and the way they have a building as the main feature and nothing else to distract you from that feature works really well, you can see that in the last image above. When I come to create my environmental designs I think I am going to try and do something similar, were I will have one main feature and not much else either in the far background or around it.
