For these two images relating to the word pencil, I had used pencil sharpening's. The top image I had glued down the actual colour part of a pencil, to the top of the pencil drawing as that is where that part is from, and then glued down the wooden pencil sharpening's down. For the second image I had spread some glue down on the paper and went around asking people for their pencil sharpening's so i could stick them down.
