In this video of the making of Blackwater gospel, it shows us a range of different character development that they used before animating such as different mouths for the tramp before deciding on the final one, it also shows you quick turn around's of the character that shows us the full scale of the character from every perspective. for watching this video to then seeing the short clips within the video you can see how the animators have referenced their development with this character especially with his expressions when the mob of people try to kill him.
