In the wood workshops we got the chance to make our characters into wooden puppets. In the process of making our puppets we had to first draw out the outline of the head, body, arms and legs so then they can all be cut out using the machines available. After all the pieces were cut out of the square block of wood that we were given, I then had to drill a hole in the bottom on the head and the top of the body, I had done this so then the head overlaps the body to make it look as if my puppet has a hunch. Then to attach the arms and legs to the body I had to use little hooks that I then squashed close so that the arms and legs wouldn't fall off.
