Starting our workshops where we were modeling our characters, the first step we had to do was build the skeleton of the character using wire, measuring it up to our drawings of our characters, we measured it up to the drawings so then we are sure the legs, body and arms ect...will be the correct length. we used a 2 meter wire and then doubled it up so the wire would be thicker and wouldn't snap as we bent it to be the correct shape. This image is the skeleton of my character before I had bent the arms so that it would make hands.
